- ANIMATIONS
- ~~~~~~~~~~
-
- 1!Projector
- 3Shows files made from The Euclid package
- 3Tony Cheal. v1.23.
-
- 1Frog
- 3A frog jumps, watches a dragonfly and eats it.
- 1Humans
- 3Walking humans.
-
- 1STREK2
- 3A brilliant film of two USS Enterprises, one firing proton
- 3torpedoes. This is well worth seeing.
-
- 1Bogie
- 3Bogart makes an appearance on the Arc.
-
- 1Catapult
- 3An animated film of a large catapult breaching the defences of a
- 3castle.
-
- 1A3000Logo
- 3It rotates!
-
- 1AnglePoise
- 3An angle lamp jumps over a chessboard.
-
- 1SmallHeli
- 3A neat helicopter, a bird and a car feature in, the movie.
-
- 1AngleTrace
- 3The Angle Lamp film raytraced.
-
- 1Unicycle
- 3This is a classic and brilliant. Pity the unicycle gets run over
- 3by the car!
-
- 1!Twirl
- 3Very fast animated spheres.
-
- 1Interceptr
- 3This TomCat F14 taxis on the aircraft carrier’s deck before
- 3taking off. It’s brilliant and in a future version a dog fight
- 3will take place after take off.
-
- 1Gizmo
- 3Yes he’s cute and features in this small film.
-
- 1AIR
- 3A great film of aircraft taking off.
-
- 1SMALLA540
- 3One of my favourite, especially in a multisync mode. Puts the
- 3A540 in the lime light.
-
- 1Bird2
- 3Lots of birds flying over a fractal landscape.
-
- 1!Snowman
- 3This program was converted from the Atari ST, PD demo program of
- 3the same name. So don’t expect amazing graphics or high quality
- 3sound, just sit back and enjoy a magical tale. Requires at least
- 3750k of free memory.
-
- 1Dragon
- 3This starts of as an impressive drawing of a dragon and it slowly
- 3changes into the Datafile Logo with a message. It is superb.
-
- 1WhirlPool
- 3This film starts of with a colour picture of a small boat. It
- 3starts to spin like a whirl pool and when it stops it has changed
- 3in to an Acorn. Again this is superb.
-
- 3As with all nick’s work they are exclusive to the library and
- 3may not be distributed by any other library.
-
- 1!DataWaves
- 3The X position of the mouse controls the logo, the Y position
- 3controls the animation speed. This animation has been written
- 3especially with Dave of the DataFile in mind. He had the nerve
- 3to criticise my last animation for being too small, so this one
- 3goes some way towards appeasing him, with 625k of sprites
- 3smoothly spinning in subtle syncronicity.
- 3Excellent!!
- 3The RAJ.
-
- 1WheelBall
- 3Again Nicholas van der Walle has produced yet another stunning
- 3film. Based on his Wheel film but many times better.
- 3A must for any user interested in producing films on the Arc.
-
- 1Astute
- 3The 3D files were created by Euclid (as usual) with Mogul for
- 3the film creation on a faithful A410/1 with RiSC-OS 3, 36Mhz
- 3Arm3, NO HARD DISC (wow!) and an essential 4Meg.
- 3The suspension unit is an exact replica (to the mm) of that of
- 3the Astute 2WD competition radio controlled model car - hence
- 3the name of Astute Graphics (well it sounded good at the time).
- 3The object was to see if Euclid was capable of creating a true
- 3engineering working model. Well, hopefully as the result shows,
- 3it is - but only if you have worked a lot (masses) with it. (By
- 3the way, I'm rather chuffed with the spring).
- 3requires and a 4Meg machine.
- 3Nick van der Walle.
-
- 14 Stroke
- 3If you don't understand the internal combustion engine this
- 3massive 5meg film is what you need. As the pistons move up and
- 3down the valves open and close in the correct sequence for each
- 3cylinder. The whole engine also revolves through 90 degrees to
- 3allow a clearer view. The package also includes a few smaller
- 3engine files.
- 3Nicholas van der Walle of Astute Graphics.
